How to get to Canta?
To get to Canta from Lima, you have three options:
- By colectivo car: You can take a colectivo car from kilometer 22 of Túpac Amaru Avenue, in the district of Carabayllo. The fare is around 20 soles (US$ 5.50) and the trip takes between 2.5 and 3 hours. The trip is only 80 kilometers long.
- By private car: If you have your own vehicle, you can also drive to Canta. The distance is the same: 80 kilometers.
- By bus: Buses from Lima to Canta leave from Túpac Amaru Avenue, in front of gate 4 of the National University of Engineering (UNI). The complete route is Lima-Canta-Obrajillo-Cullhuay-Yantac, and the trip to Canta takes approximately 3 hours or more.
